Prior to becoming a webmaster or even a freelance web designer I would pick up side-work doing traditional design work. T-shirt designs, logos and product identity, desktop publishing and layout. The experiences and lessons learned from these earlier projects all contribute to the efficacy of my project management, strategic planning and ultimately to the work product itself.
